Electronic Lock/Unlock expedient : New Balance Shoe Wallet
First of all, please be aware the size of this thing. You are Not going to fit a lot of stuff in here (not like you might want to). Id cards wont fit. Keys (the thin metal kind) and cash fit, that's about it. I bought this to put my house key in when I go jogging.
This slides over the laces on your shoe neatly and wraps nearby the front. The plastic backing locks down to the lowest with a tiny latch. There is also a small patch of velcro to secure the flap as it closes. If I had one complaint it would be that I wish the velcro patch was a bit larger or stronger. The rubber latch at the lowest gives it a much more secure feel than it would have with the velcro alone. I still haven't gotten quite used to the idea of my house key flailing nearby on my foot when I run, but it seems secure enough.
Overall a good buy.
